Whole foods are high in vitamins, minerals, fibre and antioxidants, which then help support a healthy gut.
2. Surround Yourself With Healthy Foods
We’re all eating more processed foods than ever before and this can massively impact your diet and general health. Processed foods tend to contain extra additives such as thickeners, sweeteners and stabilisers which make foods last longer and taste better. Examples of processed foods include frozen ready meals, soda, sweetened juices and fast food. When you decide to start following a healthier diet, it’s also a good idea to support your body in other ways as this can make you feel even better overall. Or perhaps you’re not much of a swimmer, but fancy trying something new. Different exercises can support your body in different ways and keep different muscles healthy and strong.
