When you lose a tooth or jaw due to dental problems, the first thing that comes to mind ‘What is the best solution for a missing or extracted tooth?’ The answer will be that a dental implant is the best solution for missing teeth or jaw. We can’t say if they will stay permanent but still, it is the best solution over other dental implant alternatives like bridges, dentures, etc.
Dental implants can last a lifetime if they are properly placed and maintained through good oral hygiene practices, regular dental check-ups, and avoiding habits that can damage the implant such as chewing on hard objects or using tobacco products.
. A dental implant is more costly than other methods. But still, many people prefer it as it looks natural, and improves appearance, speech, and comfort. They also provide better chewing and digestion, prevent bone loss, and require minimal maintenance.
What is the Cost of the Dental Implants in Chandigarh, Mohali, or Zirakpur?
However, the cost of dental implants depends on several factors such as brands, materials, dentists, and location. However, I am sharing my personal experience with dental implants.
I lost several teeth due to gum recession and periodontal disease in the last year. I visited many dentists in Tricity. All were offered higher prices according to the dental implant brands around 15k to 30k.
Lastly, I came to PGIMER Chandigarh, first, they extracted my lost teeth. Then said to wait for 4 months.
I came again this year for CBCT. After CBCT was done, the PGI implantologist suggested putting 6 implants.
So the implant brands and cost is;
Dental implant brand: Nobel Biocare
Dental implant cost in Chandigarh PGIMER: Rs. 13600
Crown material and cost: Porcelain Fused Metal dental crowns (PFM), Rs. 6000, or maybe less for single tooth replacement.
Full mouth dental implant cost in PGI Chandigarh: One-year timeframe, cost between 2.5 lacks to 3 lacks for all in 6 dental implant. I know this because I have got this treatment.
It is less compared with other dentists in Chandigarh or Tricity. So I will suggest visiting this govt. institution if you can look for a dental implant in Chandigarh or a nearby place. There may be a rash but not like other OPDs. They place implants daily and the waiting period is very short.
A dental implant is a painless treatment, less pain than a toothache. You may recover within a few days. The dental implant process typically involves a consultation, dental exam, and treatment plan. Next, the implant is placed into the jawbone, allowed to fuse, and then a crown or bridge is attached. Finally, the patient undergoes follow-up appointments for monitoring and maintenance.
