Make sure the room has good lighting, If you use a lamp make sure that it will be placed on the other side of the child’s dominant hand. It will be helpful especially if they are reading books with much to learn from like STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, dictionary, and storybooks.

2. Gather some materials that you think would be helpful.

When it comes to gathering supplies, there are a variety of great things to have on hand. Some of these include markers, sticky notes, and calculators. On the other hand, preparing a couple of toys helps to add some variety to the learning. STEM toys are a great way to introduce topics like Science, technology, engineering, and math, which can be helpful for kids developmentAs kids love to play, you can put some toys to make them comfortable while you are teaching. Having some toys on hand will help keep your kids focused and entertained at the same time. Creating multiple boxes and organizing different items in a basket or bookcase is also a good idea.

3. Always Check the learning materials you will use.

Teachers will provide helpful details about the lessons they teach, as well as their expectations for the child. It’s important to ask for more than just the usual. As a teacher-parent at home, you should also provide learning materials to catch the attention of your child.
