Google has launched it’s new or better say, modified tablet, “Google New Nexus 7” with some better modifications in the specifications and features section at a price hike of 30%. In the Smartphone world, everyone expects to get as much as features and specifications possible. It may be noted here, that this will be the first device to provide the most advanced version of the Android Operating system, Android 4.3 JellyBean (though many devices from last year can be upgraded to 4.3 including Asus Google Nexus 7; the first device to feature Android 4.1 JellyBean). Display:

There are no changes to the screen size of the tablet, it’s been the same at 7 inches. However, it will be much brighter and much sharper in New Nexus 7. There is an appreciable increase in the resolution of the retina display screen from 800X1280 pixels in Nexus 7 to 1920X1200 pixels in New Nexus 7. The pixel density has also been increased to 323 PPI (pixels per inch) form 216 PPI.

Processor:

There are some solid changes in the Processor section. Running on the Latest Android 4.3 JellyBean OS, Google New Nexus 7 is processed by the SnapDragon S4 Pro Quad-core 1.5 GHz processor, Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB RAM, while the Nexus 7 is powered by Android 4.1 JellyBean, Cortex A-9 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, ULP GeForce with 1 GB RAM. Camera:

Though it would be clumsy shooting videos and click photos with your 7-inch Tablet, New Nexus 7 supports a Primary camera of 5 MP engraved on the rear of the tablet. The Front-facing camera (Secondary camera) for video-calling and other uses is kept at 1.2 MP as in Asus Google Nexus 7.

Sound:

The speakers on Nexus 7 have been problematic for many users. In New Nexus7, the dual-speakers are engraved along the left and right edges of the tablet (when held horizontally). The sound quality has considerably increased in comparison.

Battery and Charging:

New Asus Google Nexus 7 is claimed to run continuously for longer periods, with a battery life of 10 hours for video-streaming and 9 hours for web browsing. Whereas, the Nexus7 battery backup was about 8 hours only. There is a chance to get rid of messy cords by using the wireless charger.

The Base model, one with 16 GB internal storage comes with the starting price of $176, ($30 more than last year’s model), another model with 32 GB internal storage is priced at $190 , ($20 more than last year’s model).
